UNDER 12's 09-10
14/03/10 A tough game against Basildon Wanderers who with the wind behind them put us under a lot of pressure from the start, despite some good saves from Ben and some goal line clearances they got ahead on 15 mins. Again we battled, passed the ball around created a few half chances and held firm up to halftime.
In the second half we created a few chances again but were caught on the counter attack to go 2-0 down after 10 mins
With a goal from Gerard within a minute of conceding their 2nd gave us hope, we continued to press for an equaliser and Gerard got his 2nd for us in the 29th minute the final couple of minutes were seen out. A good performance today after coming from behind to get a deserved draw.
A much better effort than last weeks game against Billericay A
Would the point be enough to reach the Semi Finals ? YES IT WAS GOOD LUCK Against Billericay B
Great finish to last season saw us take 3rd spot in the league. Good luck for this season having been put up to the prem we will need it!
